Hotel Kolding

The room provided a fantastic location for exploring the city, with friendly staff enhancing my experience. I did find the coffee amenities limited, but the overall comfort outweighed that minor detail.

Great location and excellent breakfast

The room was clean and simple, yet comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the spacious breakfast area that offered a fantastic variety of options, including freshly baked pastries and quality coffee. It would have been nice to have better air circulation, as the small window was difficult to open.

You prepare a delicious fresh breakfast, unlike any other place I have stayed.

Enjoyed the double room with a big bed, and marvellous location right by a quiet square.

The vibrant decor and spacious common areas. The layout of the hotel was easy to navigate.

Location on the lake shore in walking distance from the castle (5 min). Good breakfast.

The stay here was nice on vacation. Impeccably clean units with blankets & below, bathroom plus soft beds, and the staff were consistently courteous. Next to a port, the location was amazing and unbeatable, right next the train station.

The hotel offers a cozy room with great amenities, including tea and coffee facilities, soft bathrobes, and a flat screen TV with Chromecast. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Kolding. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay.

hotel is located next to the railway station. All restaurants and attractions are within 2 minutes' walk. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, Russian speaking girl at reception.

The atrium room was cozy and clean with a big bed and a nice bathroom. Enjoyed the coffee machine and tv with Chromecast. Got some good bathrobes. Free toiletries like shampoo and body soap. Breakfast had a great spread with freshly baked goods. The location is a plus, super close to the city center!

Although the restaurant was very friendly and pleasant, the menu was very limited. I also had the most awful night sleep, the night I stayed. This was not due to an uncomfortable bed. There was torrential rain the night I stayed and I hardly got any sleep from 2 am when I woke up to 5.30am when I had to get up to get ready to catch a train from Kolding to Copenhagen at 06.40 am. The rain drops were falling onto the metal ballustrade surrounding the slanting window. The window was closed, along with the curtains, but the noise created was extremely surprising. It was as if somebody was playing a harp all night long. I had also requested a double bed, but got a twin room.

convenience to station

We didn't like the fact that on the Saturday night we could not get to sleep because there was a disco just across the square with loud music and people milling about, talking laughing and tooting horns until about 4 in the morning. The hotel needs double glazing or something to cut the noise down. Also the airconditioning did not work well and it was too hot, so it was necessary to open the window, which made it more noisy at night. Would not recommend staying here on a Saturday night and possibly also not on Thursdays and Fridays either as disco may operate then too. Could also have some screening curtains as very public when main curtains open.

The relaxing atrium room offered a lovely view of the medieval castle. Plus, the in-room tech with Chromecast was a nice touch!

The tv has cables to connect to your mp3 player, laptop or dvd player, for better viewing/sound!
